Our SFX Makeup workshop is very popular for teens and adults interested in learning some basic Special Effects Makeup Techniques. Our artists were one of the first in the industry to use the airbrush to do SFX makeup. Headed by our lead Makeup artist Jodi Byrne who has done makeup for movies such as Strangers (Prey at night), Turtles all the way down, Hillbilly Elegy, and so many more…
Our artists will teach you basic makeup techniques using both brush and airbrush that show you how make scars, basic prosthetics, shading, contouring as well as show you the most popular tools of the trade.
You will either pair up with each other or you can bring a friend to practice on.
Participants must not have any known allergies to makeup, latex, peanuts and must be comfortable having makeup applied by another person.
The price includes:
• all supplies
• instruction
• 1.5-2 hours of time.
There is a 5 person minimum and a maximum of 15 people . For larger groups we can schedule back to back workshops.
