Anything Airbrushed plus is now hiring airbrush artists to work events as well as part time at our studio location in Sharonville, Ohio.

Airbrush experience is NOT NECESSARY but is favorable…. We will train if needed.

Our immediate needs are artists who are interested in breaking into the airbrush field by working with us at events. We travel all over the country airbrushing for Corporate Events, Private Events, College Events as well as many local events and festivals. For more information and to see examples of events that we do, visit our “Event Entertainment” page on our website at this link “Event Entertainment” and also visit our YouTube channel Anything Airbrushed to see other examples of our artists in action.

What are we looking for?

Artists who have good drawing ability, some airbrush experience and outgoing personalities. However if you have an outgoing personality and good drawing ability but do not have any airbrush experience, we also want you to apply as we will train if needed. We want to see a portfolio which shows us airbrush experience(if any), drawing ability, a grasp of color, form and perspective.

This job is perfect for College students with flexible hours, Kings Island artists during the off season, established artists with flexible hours who want to do something other than their traditional medium, recent High School graduates taking a “Gap Year” looking for a fun way to earn money, face painters and makeup artists with flexible hours…Pretty much any artist with flexible hours.

What will I be doing?

The Event Entertainment portion of our business is growing very fast and we need artists who would love to travel and paint. We work many different types of events(as seen on our event entertainment page mentioned above). Think of us like the typical kinds of entertainment you may see at events like, magicians, singers, caricature artists, face painters, balloon artists etc…just like these other entertainers, we get hired to airbrush at these same types of events. We may do T-shirts, hats, airbrushed tattoos, body painting etc…any number of different things.

So you will be airbrushing many different items at various types of events.

What does it entail?

Once trained, you will be scheduled to work events as they come up. Sometimes you will work by yourself and other times with multiple artists. If the event is out of town ALL EXPENSES are paid. Other times you will also work in house as needed at our studio location where you will paint requested projects as they come in. This can range from simple t-shirts to more detailed portraits and various props, backdrops, signs and so many unexpected items we can’t even begin to list them all.

We will need to see a portfolio which MUST include original artwork NOT digital artwork. While having a few digital pieces to show is fine, we mainly need to see traditional artwork of various mediums.

ALL supplies are provide…all you need is talent, training and to show up ready to create artwork.

What are the Benefits?

Besides getting to learn and do one of the most versatile art mediums EVER!… for a living, some of the other benefits include:

• Pay: For small local events this can range from $30.00-$50.00 per hour to $100-$200 per hour for large local events or out of state events. Working in the studio you will start at $13.00 per hour PLUS commission.

• Travel: In most cases, out of state events are usually a 1 night stay. Which means you usually fly or drive in one day, do the event(which is usually 3-4 hours) and then home the next day. Very rarely is it 2 or more nights. So you must also have an updated compliant drivers license or have your passport because there is flying involved.

• All travel expenses are paid.

• Access to the studio to work on your own projects on your own time.

• Paid training

How do I apply?

If any of this sounds interesting and if you feel you qualify then we would love to talk with you. The first step will be filling out the form below. Once we review this form and if we are interested, we will then contact you to set up a time to meet and see your portfolio in person which MUST include original artwork NOT digital artwork. While having a few digital pieces to show is fine, we mainly need to see traditional artwork of various mediums. The portfolio should consist of airbrush artwork(if any) and a few (8-10) pieces of your best artwork. The purpose of a portfolio review is to give you a chance to blow us away with your art ability…..so any traditional medium is good to show.
